[Abstract]

Quantum computing is a new computing paradigm expected to solve many classically intractable problems. However, the expected level of quantum advantage requires millions of qubits. Therefore, computer architects have done their best effort to develop a large-scale quantum computer system.

In this talk, I will introduce our research efforts towards large-scale quantum computer systems. I will first introduce the recent trends of developing large-scale quantum computer system. Then, I will present our end-to-end quantum computer system simulator and scalable quantum computer system architecture. Through this presentation, the audiences will understand (1) the various efforts of academia and industry, and (2) the future design direction towards large-scale quantum computers.
