[Biography]

Jae-Eun Lee, Ph.D. is the CEO and Founder of bitsensing, an imaging radar design company transforming possibilities for a smart life in healthcare, automotive, mobility, smart home, security, and beyond. As the CEO, Jae-Eun leads the efforts in designing imaging radar sensing technology including cutting-edge sensor fusions and AI solutions to bring a new level of intelligence to smart living and smart cities. He is one of the very few talents in the world delivering end to end radar imagining technologies that meet and exceed the high level of safety and convenience the industry demands.
Jae-Eun began his career spending 10 years at Mando Corp. as a Senior Researcher where he registered 23 patents out of 80 filed patents to upgrade their radar solutions. He is one of the three original members of the RADAR team at Mando, where he successfully developed the 77GHz automotive RADAR solution from scratch to mass production. He also published 10 journals worldwide during his tenure at Mando.
Given his unique career and experience in the field of radar, Jae-Eun Lee was recognized by the Korean Government with the ‘Korean Engineer of the Year 2016’ award, also known as 2016 IR52 Jang Youngshil Award.
Jae-Eun is a graduate of POSTECH and received his Ph.D. in Electrical-Computer Engineering from Seoul National University.
