Abstract

Interconnection networks are a critical component of modern digital systems.  Large-scale interconnection networks have been heavily researched historically and on-chip networks have received significant research attention over the past decade.  However, a new type of interconnect that is receiving significant attention from the industry is processor-interconnect or the interconnect found within a multi-socket servers.  In this talk, I will present our recent research on different aspects of processor-interconnect, including performance issues and security vulnerabilities in NUMA systems.
