Abstract
Container technology is the most impactful technology in the market today. It has completely changed the way we run large-scale production IT services, improving scalability, efficiency, and time-to-market. At the same time, it has brought in many new challenges. In this talk, we look at what the container technology is made of under the hood, what it enables us to do, how it is evolving and what the new directions are. We also briefly discuss research-related issues with the containers.
